E-Learning (el2.riken.jp) Local Account Registration

We have published the e-Learning external access-only website, el2.riken.jp, since May.
https://i.riken.jp/en/news/2022-05-02-n1/

This website is intended for those who don’t have a RIKEN ID or have no access to the RIKEN network. Users who have registered a local account can access this server.

RIKEN ID holders who can use the RIKEN network should take e-learning courses at el.riken.jp.

Local Account Eligible Users

  • RIKEN ID holders whose RIKEN ID begins with a non-numeric character such as “G”, prospective RIKEN employees, and outsourced workers
  • RIKEN ID holders who do not have a VPN connection (for those whose system user classification is “Guest,” such as visiting scientists and trainees)
  • RIKEN ID holders who do not use the RIKEN network (for those whose system user classification is “Guest,” such as visiting scientists and trainees)

How to create a local account

If you want to use a local account, please ask a full-time staff member in your lab/office.
*Registration instructions are available on the Intranet page.
